Hello! My name is Noah Tekhle, and I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.
What is your degree and how/why did you select your degree?
My degree program is Pre-STEM because I am interested in math and science.
What has been your most challenging class and how did it change you?
My most challenging class was Calculus 161. It changed me because I failed it, and usually, if I fail a class, I would just move on. Not this time. I liked the class, and I enjoy math, so I am taking it again. I will keep taking it again and again until I can't, because that is what learning is for me.
What professor should a new student absolutely take a class with and why?
You should take history classes with Dr. Alvarez if you want a class that is engaging, a little challenging, manageable work load and love maps. I am becoming more of a history fan because of the way the course is structured and the way Dr. Alvarez teaches it.
What is a moment where you felt like you belonged at Arrupe?
The moment I started to feel like I belonged at Arrupe was the moment I pushed myself to become more involved. I started meeting my professors frequently and asking for help, and that is when I felt like I never want to leave here.
What's the best thing you've done since coming to Arrupe?
The best thing I have done since coming to Arrupe is becoming a student Ambassador and welcoming the incoming freshmen.
